In March of 1945, Vernon Lester Carr started V.L. Carr & Son Pattern Co. in an old metal shop behind his house in Los Angeles, California. Early in 1983, a whole new industry opened up to them which was an entirely different industry than what had been their mainstay since 1945-the automotive aftermarket. Once the decision was made to change the course of the business into the automotive industry, investment money was gathered and the production facility was expanded. Extensive research, development, and design resulted in the introduction of aluminum cast light bars and truck steps, which were introduced at SEMA, where one of CARRs products won second place, clearly establishing them as serious new competitors. Today, CARR, as it is popularly known, is in virtually every major warehouse across the United States and Canada, and has established itself as a company whose accessories place it among the major competitors in the industry. With over 60 years of manufacturing excellence, CARR is a third-generation business, who remains firmly committed to product innovation and design, hassle-free customer service, and offering the consumer various choices in steps, light bars, and other accessories. We hope that as you browse our web-site you find items that work for your vehicle, smartly enhancing its appearance, at practical affordability. All CARR accessories are manufactured for a precise fit for today's vehicles. Our manufacturing processes allow us to design products that give your vehicle unique personal style and appeal. Chance Kamp started All Out Offroad back in 1991 as one small store in a tiny building with a single service bay and one tinting area. Soon after that, Gino Mindicta and Luke Richard joined the team and it’s been a wild ride ever since! Now we have three stores with state of the art facilities and a team that loves completely restoring and rebuilding older vintage models or highly accessorizing newer cars, trucks, jeeps, UTV’S or SUV'S.
Their skills with lift and lowering kits, tires, performance boosters, hitches, bed covers, window tint, audio, alarms, maintenance and more were put to the test on the hit CMT show “Trick My What?!” starring John Schneider and the team from the Richmond location’s “Lonestar Speed Shop.” More than fancy bells and whistles, amazing machines like the “Dragon of Steel” or the “Futuristic Steam Engine” made it possible for hardworking Americans to get their jobs done spreading asphalt, logging, or planting crops. The heart of the show was finding out about the amazing things real folks do to earn a living and fixing up the unusual equipment they need to get those jobs done.
All Out has also been featured numerous times over the years in magazines such as "TRUCKIN", "4 WHEELER" and "STREET TRUCKS".
In 2008 we built a custom "ONE OF A KIND" Hummer H1 that was featured at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. The Hummer also graced the cover of "TRUCKIN" magazine and was voted by "MSN" as one of the best vehicles of SEMA. We have featured our vehicles and won awards at shows all around Texas, from "Texas Heat Wave", "Texas Show Down", "Houston Auto Rama", "4 Wheel Jamboree", "Coffee and Cars Houston", "Summer Jam Custom Car Show" and many many more.
